According to the ANI report, the nation’s opposition parties Pakistan People’s Party and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz have rejected the new law, calling it media martial law. The parties have said that these are the guidelines prohibiting freedom of expression. PML-N spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb has said that that is an try to management the media concerning the Pakistan Media Development Authority Ordinance 2021 proposed by the Imran Khan government.
