A gaggle of individuals broke open a financial institution ATM in UP’s Greater Noida space early on Wednesday and decamped with round Rs 17 lakh money, police mentioned.
Following the incident, the in-charge of a police outpost has been suspended for alleged laxity in finishing up his responsibility, they mentioned.
“The miscreants struck on the Punjab National Bank’s ATM round 3 am, broke it open and fled with the money,” senior police official (*17*) Pandey mentioned.
He mentioned that a number of police groups, together with forensic specialists and crime department officers, have been concerned within the case to establish the identification of the culprits and arrest them.
Police officers have pegged the amount of money robbed from the ATM to round Rs 17 lakh.
Later within the day, Bilaspur outpost in-charge Ajit Singh was suspended for laxity in responsibility, a police spokesperson mentioned.
