Nearly 200,000 individuals have been evacuated from a flood-hit metropolis in central China, native authorities stated Wednesday, as dams burst and rivers bulged throughout Henan province beneath torrential rains.

“As of 7am on July 21, nearly 200,000 individuals had been evacuated in an emergency and 36,000 metropolis residents had been affected by the catastrophe,” authorities in Zhengzhou metropolis, Henan province stated.
