Channel Nine newsreader Deborah Knight has revealed her son has received his first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.

She shared a photograph to Instagram on Wednesday of Darcy getting his first Pfizer jab, after vaccine bookings had been made obtainable for kids aged 12 to fifteen this week.

Her 12-year-old son rolled up his sleeve and appeared to smile below his face masks as a healthcare employee gave him the shot.
