He was fined for underpaying 515 workers between 2011 and 2017 and may have his enterprise audited for the following three years.  

At about this time he was additionally axed from MasterChef alongside co-judges Gary Mehigan and Matt Preston after they demanded a pay rise.

They have been changed by Jock Zonfrillo, Andy Allen and Melissa Leong.
